For Guided Dual-Sport Tours, we offer Royal Enfield Himalayan dual-sport bikes, for some great guided motorcycle tours on pavement and off-road. For these, you will need a motorcycle endorsement on your driver's license, and if you choose a more adventurous off-road tour, you'll need some actual off-road riding skills.
Our tours typically consist of only 4-5 bikes, plus the guide, and in some cases a chase vehicle! These bikes are very easy to ride, but when the pavement stops, riding on gravel, rocks, sand, and trail terrain, can be tricky, so you should have some prior experience to stay safe and upright. Each tour indicates the level of off-road riding involved, so you can choose what is best for you. If you've got questions, call us!
We also offer a series of Guided Road Riding Tours, using our Mid-Sized street bikes. Choices incl; Triumph, Moto Guzzi, and Royal Enfield 650 Twin bikes. We can also offer Heavy Street bikes, so if that's what you desire, please give us a call and we'll take care of it.
Gear; besides the motorcycle rental itself, we provide a basic selection of helmets and gloves, armor protective textile jackets, but also knee/shin guards (if you want).
If you have gear that you own and like, you are more than welcome to bring it, as we're sure it will fit you more precisely. Your choice.
No matter what, you will need to wear a helmet, jacket, gloves. You will need to bring long solid material pants, and sturdy boots.
All our bikes come with a cell phone mounts. The guide's bike (or chase vehicle, if applicable) will also carry a First Aid Kit, Water, Tool Kit, Emergency Fuel, Battery Booster, Maps, Cell Phone, as well as a Satellite Communicator.
These tours are lead by a very experienced guide, a Certified Naturalist, and Interpretive Guide that will take you on some highly educational and really fun rides that not only will give you some great photography opportunities, but you'll learn a lot about the area on roads that will offer some really enjoyable mixed terrain riding.
This, is what a motorcyclist would really want to do, when visiting the greater Palm Springs area of California!
