More About our Guided Adventure Motorcycle Tours

MotoAdventureTours.com is the Guided Tour part of Desert Moto Rentals who has been offering motorcycle rentals in the greater Palm Springs market (based in Palm Desert) for several years now.  

Moto Adventure Tours' different guided tours have different options and requirements;

ELECTRIC MOTORBIKE TOURS;

First, our Guided Group Tour into Joshua Tree National Park using our new UBCO ELECTRIC 2x2 Motorbikes, does NOT require you to have a motorcycle license, just a regular drivers license. You do need to have some prior 2-wheeled experience though, to feel safe and comfortable on 2 wheels, like on a scooter or e-Bike. 

The UBCO 2x2 Electric all-wheel drive moto bikes, are wonderfully quiet. No clattering noise, no fumes, just sturdy, strong, comfortable and extremely capable machines, that are perfect a way to travel in our National Park. 

To participate in this Electric Motorbike tour you would meet us inside the Joshua Tree National Parks Hidden Valley parking lot where the tour will start. More detail here.

MOTORCYCLE TOURS;

We also offer Private Guided Dual-Sport Tours, using adventure-style bikes, like the full-size BMW R1200GS, mid-size G310GS Rally, or perhaps Royal Enfield Himalayan dual-sport motorcycles. for some great guided adventure motorcycle tours. For all these, you must of course have a motorcycle endorsement on your driver's license and full coverage insurance.

We of course also offer a series of Private Guided Road Riding Tours, using our mid-sized street bikes. Choices include; Moto Guzzi V7's, or perhaps a Royal Enfield 650 Twin bike. But we also offer Heavy bikes, like BMW R1200GS's, a Moto Guzzi California, or a couple of Harley Davidson cruisers, so if that's what you desire, please give us a call and we'll take care of it. Of course you will need a motorcycle license and full coverage insurance on all of these tours.

Gear; besides the motorcycle rental itself, we provide a selection of Dual Sport or Modular helmets and gloves, armor protective textile jackets, but also knee/shin guards (if you want). 

If you have gear that you own and like, you are more than welcome to bring it, as we're sure it will fit you more precisely. Your choice.

No matter what, you will need to wear a helmet, jacket, gloves. You will also need to bring long solid material pants, and sturdy shoes/boots.

Most of our bikes come with a cell phone mounts. The guide's bike (or chase vehicle, if applicable) will also carry a First Aid Kit, Water, Tool Kit, Emergency Fuel, Battery Booster, Maps, Cell Phone, as well as a Satellite Communicator.

These tours are lead by a very experienced guide, a Certified Naturalist, and Interpretive Guide that will take you on some highly educational and really fun rides that not only will give you some great photography opportunities, but you'll learn a lot about the area on roads that will offer some really enjoyable mixed terrain riding.
