This is our guided small group Joshua Tree tour,
inside Joshua Tree National Park!
On a UBCO 2x2 (all-wheel drive) Electric Adventure Motorbike.
You do NOT need a motorcycle license to participate in this event.
A regular drivers license, and of course, prior 2-wheel riding experience, is all that is needed. The UBCO is speed limited at 30 mph, so it is registered as a moped. You do need to be at least 21 years old (18+ if accompanied by a guardian).
We offer these tours Mon-Friday, at 10AM in the mornings, as well as at 1PM in the afternoon.
(If you are group riding together, call us we can modify times for you.)
June-Oct we also offer this electric motorbike tour in Joshua Tree
on Saturday's and Sunday's starting at 8AM
The early start, is simply because of typically high temperatures during summer months here.
For these tours you will meet us inside the park at Joshua Tree's Hidden Valley parking lot, where we will meet with you and get you all set-up, with safety equipment (we'll provide a helmet, jacket, safety vest, and gloves), and then an orientation on how the UBCO electric machines operate, before we head out for our adventure.
The UBCO 2x2 Adventure Motor Bike, is completely unique. It is all-electric, but unlike a typical e-bike - this one has a 1000w motor on each wheel. So it's all-wheel drive, strong, comfortable, with full suspension, and with excellent on/off road capabilities.
Please note that the UBCO has seat height of about 30 inches, so it's designed to fit most riders, with the possible exception of persons short in stature, or who have shorter legs.
The UBCO's are a blast to ride, and you will have an amazing experience in the park, and see some truly stunning vistas and locations!
The Joshua Tree Guided Tour Includes:
If you prefer not to be part of a small group, we
also offer a Private Guide version of this tour which would be just for you!

We have a support facility in Joshua Tree at 61046 29-Palms Hwy (SR-62). This location is not staffed at all times, as we operate our tours out of there on a daily basis. But if you have questions, or need tour info, and our gate is open, come on in - we'll be happy to chat!
Or you can just call us at (760) 469-0000
We are proud to offer this full-day guided private motorcycle tour. It will take you and your Private Guide, from one end of the park to the other, and surrounding areas. Filled with sights and information, you will definitely learn a lot about our favorite National Park - Joshua Tree National Park! Typically we'll ride Royal Enfield Himalayan 450's.
This a bucket-list experience tour that should not to be missed!
This tour is only available seasonally October through mid-April when our master guide Aaron is available.
This is a challenging dual sport tour on light 250cc motorcycles and it will have areas that will require real skill and off-road experience.
This is not for anybody who is inexperienced riding off-road, the path will include sections of deep sand, gravel, and rock/boulder patches.
If you have the experience though, it's a great ride. We'll start from our Joshua Tree facility, ride up to Pioneer Town, following Burns Canyon up the San Bernardino mountains to Big Bear Lake. Once there, we suggest breakfast/lunch, before we ride back down the mountains to Joshua Tree again This typically a 5-6 hour tour (so most of a day).
You like a twisty road? Yeah? Well then this tour is for you. Tour goes up Hwy 243, full of twist and turns, up to Idyllwild, a super-cute mountain town. From there, it continues to Mountain Center, and onto onto Hwy 74 (aka Palms To Pines Hwy) through Garner Valley and down the twists and turns to Palm Desert, and the Coachella Valley. There are some variants to this tour that the guide will discuss with you.
This is a fun 1/2 day tour that will take you on some scenic single lane highways to Pioneer Town Road, that offers great typography and scenic vistas. Pioneer Town is a really great little place (think old western town) and it has a couple of special places to eat. From there the road continues eventually dropping out on Old Woman Springs Road, and a return via Hwy 62 to Joshua Tree again.
This 1/2 day tour will take you up the "back way" (via Hwy 243) up the mountain to the beautiful mountain town of Big Bear Lake.
Due to the high elevation there, we typically do not operate this tour during the coldest winter months as they do get real snow up there. But you can always call our office, and check what the local weather situation actually is.
This full-day tour will start out going up Hwy 74 (with lots of twists and turns) and continue through Anza down to Hwy 79 where we will travel though Warner Springs, Santa Ysabel, up the mountains to Julian (famous for its delicious Pie's). We will then head down the mountain towards Borrego Springs. We will continue along the Salton Sea, through the Date Palm farms of the Coachella Valley, passing through La Quinta, Indian Wells, Palm Desert and onto a single lane Hwy returning up to Joshua Tree
